Hi bipo,
I can see that you are just trying to feel good, but I have to agree with Linda, that long term other things will help reduce anxiety much better; it's just a game of trial and error with finding what ones work for you, personally. Anxiety is meant to be the most easiest emotion to manage. Slow deep breathing as low in your belly that you can, actually stretches out your diaphragm and gives a physical message of relaxation to your brain. Exercise is also good, warm showers and baths, doing yoga, and distracting yourself with activities that you find pleasant. That might provide you with a place to start to experiment what works for you. Healthy ways to reduce anxiety are usually portable and self-empowering, sustainable and have a long term management function. It's a journey, so go easy on yourself as you discover what works and what doesn't. Maybe join a group so you have some guidance from an instructor... an instructor can help us feel confident that we are "doing it right" and it also helps motivate us to discipline ourselves. Good luck with it! :)
