Hi Pitirre,
I think you should read my posts. I think you will find a lot of similarities. I haven't been married anywhere near as long, but I married a BP 2 wife.
In short, her BP, alcohol abuse and age are catching up to her. You need to calm down and spend some time with yourself and find yourself. I found that I lost who I was and became my wife's caretaker, ignoring my own needs. I am suffering as well.
I tossed my wife out for the second (and I am now hopeful) last time today. I have learned that I am Co-dependant and that has contributed a lot to both of our problems. I suggest BEFORE to take such a drastic measure, you evaluate yourself and see if you can live with what you are thinking about doing. For me, I am now seeing that it is what I have to do before I self destruct along with her.
Stop, take sometime, calm down and evaluate yourself and find out how you really feel about this. Speak to a therapist. Read the posts around here and see what information you can find and what stories you can relate to. 30 years is a lot of time and should be carefully evaluated before you may do something you regret.
Most important, post! Get out your feelings and frustrations. It is a good place to vent and relate.
