All of your medications have side effects, SoSickandTired, it's your
kidneys that get the brunt of the acidic residue of meds. If they can't
metabolize them all in 24 hours, the meds just keep circulating in the system until the kidneys can catch up, so you're really getting heavy doses of things, just as XML suggested.
What's in your diet that could be bothersome, too? Do you drink tea,
coffee, or alcohol, or do you use any foods that contain caffeine, such
as chocolate? If so, you need to stop them right away. Caffeine and
alcohol make bipolar illness worse. In addition, you should cut back
on meat in your diet, avoid cheese, milk, sour cream, yogurt, cream cheese, butter, white flour products, and artificial sweeteners. If you
drink soft drinks, stop using them. These all have highly acidic reactions when digested and cause fluids of the body to be high in
acid residue. You need to turn your diet to a more alklanine state.
See acid-reacting foods.com and alkaline reacting foods. com to get
some idea of what you need to do to improve your diet. Your body
will be very grateful to you for the changes.
Drink water, please. You will feel the difference within days.
Take care of yourself.
