I understand, Mogs,
If it's possible for you to think of something that was really enjoyable
for you or that made you feel secure inside yourself, look to that and
let's hope that the new medication will move you away from the
negative feelings that make it so hard to keep functioning.
Has anyone made you extremely angry lately? If we don't get out the
anger it just continues to simmer inside and that will make us depressed. It has to be removed by talking to a psychiatrist or we
can explode from it when the opportunity presents itself.
One of the most painful things we can be exposed to is people who reject us. We've got to get that out somehow. If we can do that, their disapproval of us seems to melt and fall away from us. When I am faced with rejection, I try to picture the person or people who have caused it as standing before me and just falling into pieces and disappearing from my life. It's very releasing.
I know this sounds savage, but it is good to get unconscious anger out; it is a healthy thing to do, Mogs. Some of us were taught in our families that it is important not to display anger. That's a wrong training. Anger is the body's way of stopping an attack on our integrity. It's perfectly all right to feel that emotion.
We just don't ever let the anger be uncontrolled; that's when anger
becomes wrong. Because we're overly sensitive people, it's natural
for us to be highly offended, but when we stop and think about
it we
are able to control it within ourselves by our own way of managing it
without physically hurting someone.
Other things may cause the depression, too, as you already know.
No matter what it is I hope to goodness that your psychiatrist will find
it for you and give you freedom.
Love to you,
