I seem to have gotten a stomach bug and feel horrible. I don't want to eat, cause it will probably come back up again. I need to take my litihum and seroquel. If I take the lithium without food, I will vomit. What should I do?

I've been able to miss up to 2 doses of lithium without trouble. There is a nasty 24-hr puking bug going around. The incubation period is 2 - 3 weeks, so it is spreading far and wide. If you think you have something that will pass in little time, you might entertain skipping a dose. You really should call into your Dr., or get the 24 hr nurseline.

I ate some scrambled eggs, took my med's, sitten' on the couch hoping it stays down, not much hope. I have my hair pulled back in anticipation. :) I am going to call DR tomorrow. I haven't heard of a 24 hour nurseline. It doesn't seem like enough of an emergency to call after hours. As my daughters tattoo says "This too shall pass". Thanks

I feel better, not great, but better. The eggs and Lithium stayed down.
