blood lithium level?

ok, so i had the botonist tell me to take the lithium before i go, very snobishly i should add. The dr, i'm pretty sure told me not to take it the morning of. I think it is still poisoning me after lowering my dose. Does anyone know the answer to my question?

Botanists study plants. I googled botonist and didn't find anything.
