can you be so maniacal you don't ever know how to use a mood chart?

coupled with severe fibromyalgia, i am in a bad storm of negative emotions that i can't even take stock/evaluate over a day. i am not hospitalized, but i am disabled and mostly housebound with the severe bipolar and severe fibro. i just want to ask if someone else shares this issue with mood charts
