My doctor recently prescribed me 200mg of Seroquel for sleep. I think that is a little to much. I feel like he is giving me an elephant tranquilizer. What do you the community think? Thank you.....

Higher dose = less sedating.
50 mgs knocked me out cold and I had the lovely "Seroquel hangover" in the mornings. Had to quit my job due to it a few years ago. :/
But 400 mgs was fine. Go figure. :)

50mg of Seroquel helps me to sleep, tried higher doses, I am fine sleeping with the 50mg. I never heard of the "Seroquel Hangover", that is very interesting!

Ask your doc to prescribe the Seroquel XR instead of the regular Seroquel. I had to use XR. I don't feel sedated when I wake up although, I am only on 50 mg.
