April Fools' Day

Today, I wore the overcoat and beret of what I commonly call simply the 'Midas Touch'. It did not matter what task or function I chose to do, the results did not change. Everything I did today turned into a steaming hot pile of cow dung and would require being done all over again. Sometimes even the second attempt did not change the outcome, so I laughed a lot today. It sure beats waving the flag of surrender and not seeing the good things that entered my world as well.

getting a bit old for it. thought i would say g'day to everyone. been away and very unwell. had a heart attack, in surgery i had an anaphalatic shock to a med. a code was called and i was pumped with addrenalin. long story short, i was put under many times. i had the cags surgery-double by-pass cardiac graft surgery. i was in i.cu for 7 days as i went into renal failure. and was put on dialsysis and then i went into heart failure. i didn't kick the bucket but i sure gave it a rattle.

i spent 31 days in hospital. i have been out nearly 6 weeks and i am doing a graded physio exercise program. i need to get well as i am going back o/s later this year. it is a very painful operation. i am doing much better. i sometimes use a walker but i am still getting abut n my stick. my mantra on the forum and in life is 'slow and steady wins the race'. i have nitrate spray i carry with me, just to be sure. i have used it once. i thought i would let you guys know what happened.
