Hi, my name today is Bella, and I have (among other things) bipolar disorder.
I know I'm not alone, because this is a forum dedicated to those who suffer from Bipolar disorder,
but I'm interested to know if any of you have other related disorders that aren't listed (or maybe I overlooked).
I myself suffer from borderline personality disorder and have also been suffering for years with multiple personalities, though the doctors were hesitant to diagnose because my alternate personalities manifest mainly as voices in my head; taking charge in some situations and just keeping me company in others.
The manic side of my bipolar has been especially bad. I've stayed awake for five days and then slept for 37 out of 42 hours.
This isn't a pity post, I'm just curious to see if anyone can relate to what I'm going through.

hi bella. welcome to the forum. i am dx with rapid cycling bi-polar disorder and emotionally unstable personality disorder. i too was dx with borderline personality disorder, but with therapy in a in-patient proram and learning all about the benefits of D.B.T. (dialectical behaviour therapy) i soon became better and was re: dx in the same grouping of personality disorders with EUPD. i am glad you found us. we are here to support one another. at the moment i am living with some residual anxiety, but you get that. know that we are here for you. will see ya around.

Lordy knows but aspebergers and myself seem like a good fit also.

   Its just part of the stew that makes me me. So I deal with it. Not all bad, makes me a bit different.

Asperger's syndrome is recognized in a spectrum of autism. A disorder that is generally varied in many degrees from a scale of 1-10.

Sometime is also associated with bipolar.

It must be constantly monitored by professionals and Bill u seem to to have a clear understanding how this effects UR life.

I have family members who are struggling every day with these issues.

I like UR last 3 sentences the most. Really says it all makes me really think about it differently. Thanks for sharing.

Bella I wish u the best. This is a good forum no judging here. Always a good ear to just listen. UR wise and very bright this too will get better.
If u can ask UR doc for sleep meds for a good nites rest it may help UR voices calm down. Good luck.

Welcome to the forum! I'm glad you joined :-)

I am sorry for your diagnosis. This forum has helped me get through a lot of tough times. I have Borderline Personality disorder as well.
