I'm having trouble determining if my boyfriend is going through an episode. Please help. I love him so much. I don't know what to do.

Welcome to the forum!

Was your boyfriend diagnosed with Bipolar?

If he's not doing well, he should seek some medical help. An evaluation would be done and then he would be diagnosed. Counseling would he helpful to him. I think it may help you as well.

Bipolar is usually treated with meds and therapy.

tdw143, if he cut all contact with him, maybe you should give him some time and see what happens.

Use this time for yourself. You need to take care of you. Treat yourself! Do something nice for you. Go out with some friend, go to the movies, focus on you for a bit :-).

You did not give up on him. He's the one that left. You're been through a lot and now you're just taking this time for yourself :-).

A tough choice, but if you really do care for him. Do not throw in the towel and quit. He needs your support.

tdw143, sometimes we need to be supportive, but sometimes we need to get rid of the toxic people from our lives in order for us to live better.
