Withdrawl symptoms from Seroquel

I am looking for help. I had been on 200mg seroquel for a year. Because of long term side effects he weened me off it with no problem. I had a set back in my condition. My trusted old softer was no longer available so I started seeing the other doc that was in the same office. She recommended I get off Zoloft and back on Seroquel but she put me on extended release. After not much improvement I went back to her and told her I wanted to weene off the seroquel because I wasn't happy. She said she did not recommend it. She also said 200 xr seroquel is as low as it went and I would have to quit cold turkey. I tried and the withdrawal was devastating. Felt like I was dying. Had all the symptoms of the flu along with a full blown panic attack. Called my doc and she said she knew that would happen and that I needed to get back on the meds. So I am back on them. Due to some strange occurrences. I ended up taking 150mg xr (which I was told did not exist). So I thought maybe with two weeks under my belt with the lower dose maybe I could quit. It has been 24 hrs and I am feeling the Side effects. Anyone know how long they might last and if it is possible to just quit and lastly any copping advice for the symptoms.
