Hi everyone! Haven't posted for a while now. Have Bipolar 1. Been off Abilify and Seroquel for 1 yr now. Currently taking Lamictal, Risperdal and also Zopiclone to help me sleep. The reason I went onto new meds is because we no longer have a medical aid. I now get my meds from the local clinic and they dont stock my old meds and therefore the change. At first things didn't go too well but now after a year of persistence I can say that finally I have adjusted and I am doing very well. I would just like to encourage anyone who has just started on new meds. Don't be too hasty when it feels like it's not working for you. Just hang in there and be patient. It was worth it for me. Keep well all of you.
