Hi- I have Bipolar----not on medicine right now------ I used to be a member--but God healed me..

3 years that happened but now I have symthoms........ my question is as a 67 year old lady

do they have new drugs for me------that are new?

Hi Carenpolar! Welcome back! You'll have to speak to your doc to find out whether there are any new meds on the market for you to try. Discuss with him what meds you used to be on 3 yrs ago and if you got good results from them or not. Try out meds till you find one or a combo that works for you. Hope you feel better soon. Let us know once you start on meds again and tell us how you doing. Just hang in there.

Welcome back :-)! I'm glad you came back.

There are a variety of meds that can be used. I would suggest you consult your doctor regarding this. They would have a record of your history and be able to make the best recommendation.

I moved I don't have a new dr for bipolars . but my regular dr gave me Zyprexa 2.5 today and a

antidepresent to hold me over until my health Net insurance finds a dr for mental health......for me


I saw a diet for Bipolars online. It said not to drink coffee???????

for now I will take zyprexa 2.5 per day

Hi Carenpolar! Glad to hear that you've started on meds again. That's a good start. Hope that it works well for you and that they find you a mental health doc soon who can help you. Yes it's true. You should avoid all caffeine if you have Bipolar. Take care!

true about the caffeine. i gave up the ciggies nearly a year ago. gotta have something!!!!! COFFEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. all the best caren.

Chicory has no caffeine-----I order It from nuts.com-----------Dr Oz said that going off coffee ,you can
use chicory........
