I swear my son knows how to push all of my buttons and make me loose my cool. He starts talking about
getting a different cell phone contract at 10:30 pm and when I said I didn't want to hear it anymore he starts off my saying well I'm sorry that you are up to late. Really?! It's like he forgets that I'm the adult and can talk to me any way he feels like it. He never does this to my husband. Then he wakes me up by telling me he can't do the 4H thing because he hasn't been training the horse long enough. Which I'm glad because that whole thing was overwhelming me. It just seems that everything he has been trying to do lately is driving me crazy. If it's not the cell, then it's about
selling his Playstaion 3, then it's about
4H and then its his sister being mean to him when it's just him being rude to everyone in the house. I lost my cool last night and took away my laptop so that he knew he wasn't getting away with is stunt. He did say he was sorry a few minutes later and I accepted it but then it just starts right back up this morning. I can't catch a break here. Oh here is another interesting thing. My husband starting thinking last night that we should go away for a week to a cabin in the woods to get away from everything. Have only our phone and he said he wouldn't even enjoy an occasional beer. I just wonder how that would work out because he can't sit still for nothing, he always has to be messing with something because he's so restless. I mean I would be fine I would take my board games, cards and my tatting to make my crafts. I just now from past experiences that I don't think he would relax as much as he thinks he would. Then getting my kids to adapt to the vacation w/o complaining that they are bored. What to do, what to do. These are my frustrations just this morning. Yeah me!

I'm sorry Lis. I hope your son will behave this week.
I hope this week will be better for you.
Spending a week at the cabin sounds nice and peaceful. Since it's your hubby's idea, and suggestion for only one phone, maybe he wants to spend some time with his family. The games sounds like a great idea. I'm sure you all will be busy having fun, preparing meals and just enjoy it together. It's a nice idea. I hope you consider it, if you feel up to it.

I'm really for it. I guess I'm just anticipating all things that can go wrong so I know how to cope with them. Instead of looking for all the good things that can happen. Well we will see how things go and if we even do this at all.

Look on the bright side and hope for it to go well if you go.
I understand about
looking at what can go wrong. This way you wouldn't be disappointed if it doesn't go well. But it may also scare you from going and having a good time.

Well to be on a positive thing. I'm getting a kayak to go and travel with my parents. Plus I can take it to our trip if we decide to go. I'm getting excited to use it since there is a lake very close to my house. Great exercise and relaxing at the same time. Oh I've been walking the past two days. 2 miles a day!!!!! I'm really proud of myself. It also helps that it's been really nice outside.
