This medication is all that has ever helped me feel half way normal. I have heard it is addictive. Does anyone know if it really is?

Hi lion, Yes, Klonopin is a controlled substance and can be addictive. However, this doesn't mean that extended use of the medication will cause addiction to it. There are many people that have taken it for years at high doses and haven't formed a habit. I would say if you need it; take it. Be well.....

I am going to talk to the dr about this next week. If I could just take one pill a day it would help so much because I have so much anxiety and social anxiety, that it is hard for me to go anywhere. In January they gave me 30 pills that is supposed to last me 6 months. Not much help there.
