Hello,

Any feedback on meds treatment for the wonderful combo of BDP 2 and OCD?  I am currently on 175 mg. of Luvox, 80 mg. of Geodon, Xanax - up to 1mg./day as needed.  I am also on Lamictal (400 mg.) for a seizure disorder.  Unfortunately - the Lamictal didn't help with the BPD.

I am hopeful that Geodon will work.  It's helped with mood stabilization - although I still need to go up in dosage.  Any feedback on Geodon would also be great.

i'm on 120mg of geodon. and i think its helping. i'm also on topamax. and klonopin for anxiety. i havent been on it that long so i'm not that much help. so far so good though. but welcome to the site. and hope to see you around more.

I'm taking 60mg 2x/day  (120mg). I was taking 80mg 2x/day (160mg) but it was too much for me and the side effects were aweful.  Best wishes on getting you meds right.  Sometimes it takes several attempts and other times once is all you need.  So far Geodon has been a good mood stabilizer, it's just makes me a zombie for most of the say that's all.

I'm also taking 900 mg of Lithium.  I used to take Lamictal for almost 2 years, but it stopped working.

Thanks, jerseycherries and Olivia.  I tried to reply to each of you - but couldn't find a way to do it.  I'm still learning my way around the site.

As one of my pdocs once said - "there isn't any magic bullet".  He got that one right.  But it's good to know that Geodon has been helpful for both of you.

Thanks on your good wishes.

I like Geodon, because there is no weight gain associated with it like seroquel, zyprexa and all the others.  I don't like the zombie effect which I hope goes away soon.

Best whishes on finding the right combo of meds.  I myself have been through a lot of trial and errors and trully sympothize.  yeah
