zyprexa

Im weaning off of zyprexa I have been on it for a little over 9 weeks was put on it for really bad anxiety and until the zoloft is working well. So now the p-doc told me last week to start taking the 2.5 mgs every other night for 2 weeks then just stop the zyprexa, will I get any side affects when I stop it beccause last time when I tried i had only been on the zoloft for about 3 weeks and I did really bad when I stop the zyprexa. Do you think I should cut the 2.5 mgs in half and take it that way everyother night for about a week and then stop it or will I been fine just stopping it like the doctor told me to. Looking for some good advice. Thank You Suebird

Hi Sue:

I'd do it as the doc says: you're actually weaning your body off more slowly that way. If you try to stop in in a week instead of in 2, you might make it worse.
