Are chemo symptoms the same every time?

Hi ladies,

I'm about to get my second treatment and I am hoping the symptoms for me are the same as they were last time. Can anyone let me know. I'm getting all nervous again. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks

We all have different reactions, but for me, I could set my clock by my symptoms. Chemo was around 10 on Tuesday. At 10 pm I got nauseous. On Thursday my taste buds went wacky but were ok by Friday when the acid reflux set in at 5. My side effects were totally predictable.

Many people report the same side effects but stronger over time. My reflux did get worse, but no other real problems.

The anxiety of the first chemo is usually much worse than the rest. Hang in there and go get #2!

I have heard that it's basically the same but wasn't sure. I was nauseous day three and four but really didn't have too many other symptoms. And the meds worked pretty good with the nausea. Hope it works the same with Christmas and all. I get it on the 18th. Thanks again and have a great holiday

i HAVE THIS TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SMELL FOR about 7-10 DAYS AFTER CHEMO. It lingers in everything i do everywhere i lay...even my poor dog cant lay next to me she smells......and from that smell i stay sick

FIRST DAY AND SECOND i AM PRETTY GOOD WITH EMMEND ZOFRAN AND COMPOZINE.

BY DAY 3 i AM A MESS, EMOTIONALLY PYSICALLY, i HAVE ONE MORE TO GO WHOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO.

i ALSO HAVE cROHNS DISEASE SO i AM SURE THAT IT IS ATTRIBUTING TO THE SIDE EFFECTS OF CHEMO.

cANcER Is NoT FoR SiSSiEs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CHemo sucks, but it is doable........Now that I am passed the 7 day lolololol

Mine seemd to be the same each time. I know what you mean about "some" smell. I can't explain it. It didn't really stink it was just weird.
