hello,
I usually don't post here, but I do come and read the post.
Go and see a breast specialist or surgeon in your area, they should answer all of your concerns & questions.
I work scheduling mammo's u/s and for our breast surgeon. I am only telling you what I see and have helped people out with. Everyone has different circumstances.
I do have a few things to suggest for you.
Because of your age being so young, your breast are very dense, and hard to see.
That is why they usually don't do a mammo at that age. Most insurance will not cover the testing at a young age for a screening.
If you should have a lump/ cyst they may view it with an ultra sound.
They could ( I have seen) suggest an MRI for the breast.
The protocol is a mammo 10 yrs before your mother was dx with breast ca for the first mammogram.
It is important to get your family hx and keep track over the years where and when your mammmo's have been for comparison. Keep a note book somewhere.
You would be suprised the people who don't remember where / and what date their last mammo was.
Stay away from caffine, I take a supplement "evening of primrose" for the fibrocystic breast. Take everyday. I does help.
Take charge of your health, and see a specialist. I hope that this helps.
good luck to you :)
