I did not have Neulasta but maybe this will give you some perspective. My sister had A/C, 4 of them, 3 weeks apart and part of her treatment was a Neulasta shot every time. I do not know whether this was her doctor wanting this or whether her blood showed the need. She was always tired. For me, I had 4 AC, once every 3 weeks, and 12 weekly Taxols. I had blood work each time and the only time my blood work was low enough for the doc to suggest Neulasta was after the 4th AC and before the 1st Taxol. Blood work was just at the threashold. I asked if I could wait a week, and they agreed. It seemed to work. I never experienced any bone pain. My sis and I were in our 50's when diagnosed.
There are other ladies here who can better advise you regarding this med, and by the way, whatever meds the docs give you, i.e. for nausea, the sleeping pills, TAKE THEM. It is getter to be proactive than to react to these problems.
Good Luck!
