Connie was my go to lady! Connie never failed to give great advice. She worked endlessly to help others and to keep herself educated on all the latest news.
As you know Connie passed but after talking to her husband Bob I was relieved to know that her passing was almost like she went to sleep. She had one lung that had fluid and that kept her breathing a little different than if she were actually sleeping. He said she was mentally alert until she started feeling a bit of pain and they gave her morphine. He said with that she appeared to have gone to sleep, and no sign of discomfort. I do believe the cause of death will be liver failure. Connie was only 59 years old. She was married to Bob for 27 years. He has two daughters by a previous marriage. He and Connie had no children together. Her sister is there and they are waiting to confirm arrangements because of his daughter trying to get a flight in.
Arrangements so far, are for the Davis Gross Funeral Home. Tentatively set for Monday. Please let me know what if anything you want to do about flowers. I have no idea how we do this. I have the name of a good florist that Bob said, sent flowers that she liked. Sadly, we really have lost one our our best fighters. I will leave you with her famous saying. Know your enemy, is what I always say! People like Connie are how the term deeply missed came into being. Connie was our treasure and they say as long as one person remembers you, you are never really gone. Well Connie will be with us for a long time, if that is true.
