Hey all,
I'm 26 and just found a lump on my left lower breast. I can feel it, the doctor can feel it and said it's abt 2-3 cm. The lump's been there for a few mths, but never pained until 1 week ago. It feels warm, very tender to the touch and movable.
Dr sent me for an ultrasound this past Sat. The tech said it was the most difficult case of her life cause she could feel it but not see it....it just won't show up. She called in another tech who said it might be Focal Memory Tissue? Now I'm waiting for my Dr to get the result and call back. He should get it today.
My grandmother (dad's mom) lost her fight with Brain cancer 10 yrs ago. 2 of my aunts (her daughters) have had cycsts (supposedly bengin) removed. One was breast, the other throat. I had a sebacous cyst removed from the middle of my back 4 yrs ago and I have cysts on both ovaries as well (which I know is common). But I have to say this one in the breast makes me really nervous. Why can it be felt so easily but not seen in an ultra-sound? Any thoughts much appreciated.
Thank you
