Well, ladies, we know just about everything else about each other!!!  May as well do a poll.

This question interests me, too.  I know I started at 10, and my 2 daughters started at 9 and 10.

I think I was 12 or 13, probably in 7th grade. Can't remember that far back. I think DD was about the same age, although she was very irregular right into college when she went on birth control pills to regulate her cycle. She just didn't like not knowing when "it" might start. Lauri

I was 12 and as you all know from my thread yesterday DD was 9.

 

Thanks for thinking of this question, it's given me some relieve to see that it's not that uncommon to start at 9 or 10.  But once again it poses the question; does this increase a girls risk for BC?

I started the month before I turned 11 and remember it like it was yesterday.  LOL

I started in 7th grade so probably 12 or 13.  Remember it, because my mom had never talked to me about it and I was scared.  Vowed if I ever had a daughter I would make sure she knew before, but didn't have to experience that - no daughters.

I started when I was 13, and my daughter started the night before her 13th birthday.
