3rd treatment Monday afternoon..prayers please

Well, here we go again...after an extra week to get my strength back, treatment is on again. I will have Taxotere and Aredia

tomorrow. We have stopped the Xeloda for the time being.

I sure could use a few prayers and some hand holding....I am

kind of nervous...but trying to keep a good attitude. If

I have a similar reaction to only the Taxotere, I doubt I will

continue treatment.

I will keep you all posted...

OK, Cath....I'll be there with bells...er, uh, pink feathers on!  I am rooting hard for you, my friend, that this treatment will be easy to tolerate. You absolutely deserve a break, praying this is it.

Sweet Cathi: I will be with you in prayer today holding your hand.  (Mine's the cold one).  Making decisions about treatment is always a difficult task, but I truly believe that our hearts and faith brings us to the correct one.  I do pray that the treatments are kind to you and that you come to better health. Cathi: Good luck this afternoon. I truly believe that you will have an easy time w/ treatments and minimal side effects. I will be taking the aredia starting again next month since a new study shows that the side effects from the zometa are causing such horrid problems. Treatments are never fun and I know that there are days that I question why I am continuing these weekly "endurance tests". I hope that you will have nothing but smooth sailing during and after this treatment. You are almost done! I'll be there with you, whispering words of encouragement.

Cathi, it is about time to jump aboard the PCE to come hold your hand. Mine is the hot one. LOL Candy. In my old age I am hotter than a hotcake body temperature wise. I wish I could share some of this warmth with those of you who are cold. I am praying that this treatment will not cause you any further pain and suffering, Cathi. God knows you have had enough of that. I hope our pink presence is felt as you undergo the treatment and afterwards as you rest comfortably. Hugs, prayers and love, MK
