Gosh Breast buddies. Something wonderful happened to me on saturday. They had Brides Against Breast Cancer in a town close to use and since I am getting married next summer we went to it. Its a wonderful program not sure if you guys have heard of it. They have tons of wedding dresses that businesses and people have donated and sell them and donate the money to makes wishes come true for breast cancer patients, anyway when they found out I had breast cancer and was in treatment she told me I could pick out any wedding dress I wanted and anything else and I could have it for free... WOW WOW WOW.. I had such a wonderful time I tried on alot of dress and finally picked one that fit me great and was absolutely beautiful looked like a princes dress. I came home glowing. It was the most wonderful experience I ever had they gave me the dress veil and slip and gloves all of it......skeeter1

What a wonderful program!!!How exciting that you found so much and are so excited about it, too. Now it will be hard to wait til next summer, I bet. LOL. I am happy for you, too. Hugs MK

Bernadette....I will try it on and get a picture of it as soon as I can... it is beautiful tongue . give me a few days though, k, cause I got the flu and haven't been feeling well the last few days..

Hang in there and try not to worry to much about what they found, I will keep my fingers crossed, I did chemo first before surgery and it shrink my tumor from 4cm to 1.1cm so if what they found was begining of abnormal cells then there is a good chance the chemo could kill it before it gets a chance to start..what JuJu said does make sense that it could be a fungus or something like that too.........skeeter1

I thought I posted to this, but guess it is lost in cyberspace. This sounds like a wonderful program and how luck you are to get all of the items for free. It is a marvelous gift. I am sure you will be a stunning bride. Happy hugs, Lauri

Wow! That is exciting. What a great program. I've never heard of it, but that doesn't mean much. I'm a LONG way from being a bride. LOL Anyway, I'm sure you'll be a beautiful bride. Congratulations!!!

How wonderful, Skeeter! And congrats!

What a wonderful way to get a beautiful dress. Someone told me that having cancer is a good way to find out that you are loved and that others are there for you!
