Breast scar pain

What was the lump?

Yes, I feel a pain that sounds very similar, but I also have breast cancer and had nodes removed. I'm almost half way through my radiation treatment, and they told me it's going to get worse before it gets better.

I get that pulling, stretching, and occasional sharp pains like a rubber band is being plucked or snapped from my nipple, inside, into my arm pit, and sometimes a little down my arm, or a little down the side of my breast.

Same thing, for the most part, the really intense sharp pains can be fleeting, but for me, I always have at least some sense of underlying pain.

Before all this, I had firbrocystic breasts since I was 14, and have been all to familiar with lumps of various tissue.

Oh I still get that pulling/stretching/snapping sensation that runs deep, and feels like it starts from inside the nipple and runs into my armpit.

It's random, it comes and goes, and yes, it's around the same place as my scar.

My doctors have told me that, in my situation, to maintain range of motion exercises to keep the tissues pliable.

But it sounds so similar to the sensations I get, and I do the same thing! (I hold my breast from underneath to kind of assuage the pain). Golly, we'd look a hoot walking through the mall holding one of our breasts periodically, eh?
