Today was my very last boost radiation treatment.

I have a follow-up in 3 months with my onco.

I do have some lymphedema going, so I'm on a watch for a few weeks, and if it doesn't dissipate, they'll refer me out. But we're strongly thinking it's temporary,...that and I'm overly sensitive so I can feel everything and anything as far as my arm pit is concerned.

I gave that bell three hardy clangs as I rang out today!

Merrida, that's great news. I've been wondering how you were. Forgive me for not being in touch but I'm twelve days post op double spinal fusion, and struggling!

I pray and hope this marks the end of your cancer journey and that the lymph oedema settles by itself. I told you you'd come out the other end, bet a huge weight has lifted for you and your lovely husband!!

Hi Jane!

I really appreciate you staying in touch. You're wonderful! :D

I just started the hormone meds (to further reduce any estrogen in my body),....so we'll be seeing how my body reacts to this. My onco wants me on these meds for a period of "5 to 10 years!" (Wow!)

Hang tight with your spinal fusions,--oh toots, I know,...I've been there too! Slow and steady for recovery, don't push it! Write again when you're able, and we all miss you on CP! ((big hugs)) your way!!
