Did my last rad yesterday. Can you believe it!! I feel so free. My rad onc said I could take my Arimidex this am so I took it along with an Aleve (trying to forego joint pain). I am very happy today.

WOO HOO! Hot diggety dog! Congrats on this giant milestone! Retail therapy is a great way to celebrate, along with cake!

Doesn't it feel so good to have finished this stage of treatment?? Do something special for yourself. I think the occasion calls for chocolate at the very least. Congrats. Hugs, Lauri

It is a great feeling to have it over with.  For me, though, it was bittersweet.  I love my rads team and miss seeing them!  Isn't that silly?  Now it's back to being 'normal' - whatever that means to us now.

Way to goooo.... I graduated too... now its back to normal life.... I start back to work at my normal job the 3rd of Oct... wish me luck I will be working 12hr shifts day/night rotation.. looking forward to getting back to normal life but not being on my feet again for 12hrs a day... I started on Arimedex too... gosh I have been getting more joint pain and leg pains more not sure if its the medicine or because I have been riding my bike for an hour each time I ride to get my strength back. I have you been getting moreof them now too? We made if girl yeehaa!!!skeeter1

This is my second day on Arimidex so no real pain. I am taking Aleve as a preventive. The only thing I have noticed is that I had a small hot flash this am. I may have to increase my Paxil to the full 20 mg per day. I do not look forward to that because that dosage makes me sleepy all day long.

I bet you are sore from the bike. Try the Aleve. It will work for the bike and maybe for the joint pain, too.
