Or Mary Ann. Sorry you joined this club, but happy you found us. We're a diverse group of ladies sharing at least one common thread -- breast cancer. We also have some sister's family members write from time to time -- mostly their loved ones are no longer with us.
Like you, I found this site well into my treatment -- just as I was finishing chemo and starting radiation. I wish I had found it six months before. If you have questions, just ask. It is very likely that someone here has experienced it or knows how to do the research. Some of these women are just brilliant!
I believe the thing I like the least about having BC is that before BC, I had never been sick or taken a regular medicine except for yearly allergy flare-ups. Now I have been diagnosed with high cholesterol, pre-diabetic and my internist is now placing me on Synthroid for "auto-immune thyroiditis" (Hashimoto's disease which I have had since I was four years old - my sister also a BC survivor has it as well)
So happy you found us and again, welcome breast sister, to our site!
