So how cold did it get?? (Clutter...)

Today seemed like a heat wave...my car said 17 on the way home and amazing how mild that seemed. Monday and TUesday had most of the schools closed, temps were 4 below in the morning with wind chills -21. My colleague and I think we blew a circuit on Monday with our heaters so I brought in a down throw, sat with a blanket on my lap all week.

Luckily we did not get snow or ice in all this...

How'd you all fare with the tough conditions?

Well you know Texas weather. Last week we were in the 20s and had a beautiful snow. Today was a spring like 69.8. I know it is nasty up north and I am sorry you have to deal with it. My ddil sent pictures of KY snowfall and it looked so pretty, but I am happy to not be living in it. Take care and stay warm, spring is coming. MK

Raleigh, NC : Its been freezng here with highs in the mid to upper 30s! sssooooo cccold that I haven't wanted to leave the house! Today it got to 41 and tomorrow should be 44-45, but I want my 70's !!!

Well if you have nothing nice to say Don't say a word, so I am not going to comment about those with warm temps. Let me put it this way. I bought some things for the freezer and could not decide if I should ask Vic to take it down to the freezer or just put it on the deck. My deck was colder than my freezer. Only good thing about this broken foot is the boot is warm. LOL Enjoying a very warm day today. 15 degrees today. This morning it was 5 degrees. My last word as Joyce tosses sunblock at the ladies with warm weather. Tee hee. Love and Hugs.

Well I guess I don't need to tell all of you what the weather is like here..........the Seattle area is always the same, overcast and raining. I would like to have some snow and cold weather again. Okay I take that back all of the people in this area FREAK out when there is one snow flake. If God forbid it actually gets more than one snowflake they just stop their cars and leave them in the middle of the road. Iam NOT kidding! When I first moved to this area 7 years ago my friend and I had been out and when we came out to leave there was snow on the ground, we were on I405 and all of the traffic stopped! People left their cars and walked. I had never seen anything like this. We sat in the car for 3 hours until we were able to get around some of the DEAD cars. Anyway I guess I will take the dreaded rain over snow.

I'm in Maryland and it's been in the high teens for a few days until about yesterday or the day before where it got to be in the 20's but the freakin' wind was blowing. It's going to gradually go up in the 30's by tomorrow and thru the weekend. I don't like cold weather. Not that cold anyway. I can deal with 30's.

Bernadette, I don't know how you can stand to live in cloudy and rainy weather all the time. It has to be depressing. I'm sure get get sunshine once in a while. That's funny about people leaving their cars everywhere. I won't drive in snow. I won't even leave home if it's a lot. If it snowed overnight, I will go into work late just to make sure that the main roads are clear. I'm a chicken sh**it.
