I've been up and down this week waiting for the MRI to happen on Tuesday. At times I feel so positive that it's all going to be ok, it won't be to serious and life will go on. Then the "doom and gloom" thoughts come in and I think "what would my husband and my children do without me!"

Eight months ago I was so depressed and had such horrible anxiety, I had just found this lump and I even thought ..."Maybe it's cancer, then I could just die of a natural cause" Now I'm sitting here in shock because that's what it has become and this is not what I want. Be careful what you wish for huh.

On the whole I am doing ok, my family is very supportive and loving...my middle one is stuck to me like velcro and I have to almost peel her off of me! LOL I have a husband who is there for me and I am very happy he is,

Ah yes, the dreaded waiting game. You wait to have the tests, you wait for the results, you wait for action to be taken if needed. Waiting is terrible. But I always say, " Don't worry until you know you have something to worry about!" So try to stay up! Hold that glued middle one and cuddle her. They grow up all too soon. You are so lucky to have a supportive husband, many women don't. Appreciate him and let him know it.

We are here to talk about it once you get the MRI results.

Hope you get some good news tomorrow. Let us know what happens. And wishing didn't make this happen, so don't be too hard on yourself for thinking that. No matter how prepared we think we are to hear bad news, somehow it seems to take the wind from our sails, nonetheless. So just hang in there, and let us know how the MRI goes.

I'm having alot of pain in my right breast today, sharp pains right in the mass. I will be so glad to get the MRI done tomorrow and get moving on this. I found out my insurance should cover almost everything, so thats one load off.

Suzy, this may sound crazy but knowing that there is something there can cause pain. These lumps, tumors whatever you want to call them, take years to form large enough to be seen in a film. During that time they are not felt or you would have been headed to the doctor's earlier. Then all of a sudden you know there is a problem and you hurt. Try some ice or massage and see if that helps some. Good luck on the MRI tomorrow. Hugs MK

Yeah, it was the pain that actually had me go back in. When I first had the lump checked out, nothing odd showed up. Then about four months later it started growing and getting tender, it started waking me up in the night with sharp pains, so off I go again. If it wasn't for the pain, I probably wouldn't have bothered with it for quite a bit longer.

My mass was also painful and it was the pain that got my attention.  Thanks goodness for that and the fact that it got significantly larger, fast.  I had thought for some time that something didn't feel quite right in that area, but dismissed it.  I'll be thinking about you tomorrow and hoping for some good news.

What an experience that was!!! LOL At least the MRI is all done now. My doctor should call me in a couple of days to let me know what they found out.
