Pallitive care and pain questions

Hi,I'm new to talking on line but need help. I'm an eight year survivor- 9/11/01 was my dx date. In 2005 I was dxed with Mets to the bone and in 2007 with mets to the liver." TN Mountain Girl talked about liver pain and I want to ask her about it. My bone pain is intense and I'm using a cane. Pallative nurses have begun coming to my home to administer pain meds and help me. Will someone talk about the pain they have? My mets is to my T-Spine pelvis and ribs. I'm here to help anyone with questios too

Hi Cindy Lee, I edited your post to show a title so others would know your need for information. We have a very special member here, Cathi, who has endured bone pain for several years who may be able to help you. She doesn't post real often but she does check in. She is also in pallitive care.

I'm sorry for all you are enduring. My daughter was discovered to have bone mets about two years ago eight years after her original diagnosis. She has not had pain so bad it kept her from working, but it was/is in her bone marrow. Recently she had a test of the bone marrow showing no cancer present; however she is still taking weekly chemo to keep it at bay. Hope you get some answers here.
