Ladies, I am so lost for words. With every note I read, I could truly tell you love my wife. So Sweet, so reserved but yet had the greatest capacity for love and understanding that I have ever seen. I am enriched by her as some of you were. She was just my hippy chick, real simple folk. Thank you and if you knew Mel like I did than you know this is not gloom and doom for us. We will never just be survivers, us just like you ladies that must journey on and fight the cause like Mel, this is just a cross road that we choose to live in the memory of those good ladies that used to post here, those who the master now dines at his table and who are the angles around us now. We are not alone if we remenber. I am truly sorry that some must walk this road in the manner you ladies must. But those of you I've meet and all of you that " arcticgirl spoke of and loves, I pray for you to walk in courage, keep spreading the love, fighting the good fight, and telling our storys of how this deisase deals a bitter cup that we must face or die and Mel refused to let breast cancer kill her. She lived her life while she could, in the throws of love and laughter she out on her terms breast cancer was only the vehical that got her here, she was ready, and at peace with God. I love you all, my sons are gratful that Mel had some of the best love in the world sent to us through yall. I miss her so much...........
