back from the biopsy

Hi all, did you land smoothly? You all look very different than I imagined It was great having the cats there - I just love cats. We have 5 of our own!

Of course, waiting game ... 5-7 business days for biopsy results. They took 5 cores. Getting a little sore now, nothing a good glass of wine won't cure! Unfortunately, the doctor who did the biopsy showed me all around the ultrasound and pointed out all of the irregularities with the mass and agrees with the first doctor that it looks malignant. It's about 8mm x 1 cm but it's not attached to the chest wall - about halfway between skin and wall. Anyone know if that's good news?

Well, don't give up the chant yet! And thanks for coming with me on the PCE! I'll keep you posted!

Yes, it is great news that it looks unattached. The drs thought my daughter's was attached and were very much relieved to find it was not, so I know that is good. As Mia suggested find a good book or some movies to distract you from the waiting. We all hate to wait. Hugs and prayers, MK

I'm glad you sound so good.  At least you aren't being hit with a definate in one day like I was, that was pretty freaky.  This way you have a chance to build up support if you hear the c word.  I hope it's b9, chanting away, but I'm here for you either way.  You are so brave!
