Just stopped in to say hello and to thank you all for the cards,

phone calls, emails and messages, hugs and prayers....it means so much to me ......as always it overwhelms how good you are to me.

The side effects from the Taxotere & Xeloda are kicking my

butt...I have had nausea,some vomiting, "the runs", mouth

sores,thrush, a horrible yeast infection, a rash, swollen hands,

my face is peeling and lips are cracking and bleeding. It is

hard to type because my fingers hurt. That is all I can think

of right now....Oh yeah..fatigue

I am sorry I have been neglecting my moderator duties, but I am

so darn tired. I do want to say hi to all the newbies...I hope

I can get to know you all in the near future....

How nice to see your post, but so sorry things aren't going so good for you.

I think of you often and wonder how you are doing.

Oh Cathi, my heart aches for you terribly...I am so sad sad you are going through all of this. Maybe they can adjust the med dosages to give you an easier time...I know I have heard with Xeloda they can adjust it to ease the symptoms. And what about weekly Taxotere instead of q 3 weeks? Please don't be shy in talking to your onc about other options.

Sweet Cathi,

So sorry to hear you are having such a tough time with the new drugs.  Be sure to talk to the Doc and see if they can give you some meds to help with all the side effects.  Surely there is something.

Take care and hope you have a Blessed Easter holiday this weekend.  Checkin when you feel up to it.  I'll try to give you a call sometime this next week on my way home if that is ok.

Cathi, the important thing is for you to get to feeling better. No one expects you to be superwoman. We love you and want you to be well and feel well. I am so sorry you have so much discomfort with fighting this terrible disease. I would do anything to help keep you from it all. Prayers and hugs, MK
