PCE boarding to be with Snufflesmom (Randi)....

Surgery day is today and we are all chanting the B9 mantra, from here to timbuktoo, can you hear it?  I forgot where Randi lives, but it is ok, the PCE knows where to go. Although weary from late night travels, we are fired and ready to roll....pink feathers and pink hot pants....lol....ok, maybe pink capri pants (long johns thankfully put away for the season).

I see that many have boarded the PCE in Randi's original thread, thought I would start a new one for those who missed it.

Rand, we'll be thinking of you today, please post when you can, and tell the doc you need the oversized OR so we can all squeeze in there with ya!

I'm on my way! I am running to there on time. B-9 B-9. Pink capri pants on me would be enough to scare everyone in the hospital. It will be good to see you all. Hugs MK

I've got the pink capris.  I'm running to catch the flight.  Chanting all the while B9, B9, B9, B9.  Good luck Randi, we will be with you.

Randi, try to avoid breathing in any of the feathers, they'll make you cough too much! B9, B9, B9. You'll be on my mind all day. Let us know when you can how everything went!

Well, darn, I missed the PCS, rushing there in just a few minutes.  Will someone be there to meet me?  I'll be wearing pink sandals, a pink boa and carrying a pink bag.  Seems like I'm missing something...............

HI Ladies,

Whew just found this tread.  I'm back and I feel great.  I saw you all in the OR with me and it was nice.    The surgery went very well, I did happen to see the mass they removed, oh my god it was hugh, I mean big, big.  But it is out and I had no pain from the surgery, well not in my breast, but man my lower back was so sore I could not get out of bed for two days, must have been the way I was positioned on the bed.

So now I wait till Wednesday to find out if it is B9, I feel in my gut that it will be, I mean I don't have cancer, that is to much to comprehend, me, no.  I know it can happen to anyone, but I'm just positive it is B9.  I mean this lump came out of no where, it was painful, so I figure it is just a b9 mass, that is all.  I could be wrong but who knows. I mean does it happen that fast, one day you just wake up and you have a lump that is cancer?

I will let you know as soon as I find out on Wednesday.  You ladies are the best.

I think that our lumps are there for a while and one day we just find them, when they become of size or in a position that we notice. Your attitude is the best.... assume that this was B9 and that there is no reason to expect anything else.....but know we are here for you regardless.
When I was diagnosed, I assumed my staging tests would show no disease. In hindsight, I know that I was afraid that cancer would be there, but for my own sense of well being, assuming the best case scenario was a great way to cope. And thankfully the tests were all negative, and I hope yours is too.

Thanks for the response.  I just in my wildest dreams can not imagine it is Cancer.  I mean it is uncomprehensible to think it is.  But hey it might be.  I won't know till Wednesday.  I'm not that scared if it is, I mean so what you go through radiation and chemo lose you hair and then it might be over.  God I don't know.  But I will let you know as soon as I know. 

As I said before you guys rock.
