Thank you for all holding me in your prayers. I went and saw my transplant doctor (had the stemcell transplant March of 1999 and would never have another) and he feels that my response is stable to the Navelbine so he is not for changing my chemo (Navelbene and Herceptin and Zometa). He did mention that GEmzar is his next choice. My local doctor will go with his recomendation (saw her today) I have have a hard time with my right hip where I have a tumor in the neck of the femor and have had it radiated (Nov 1998) Any how in January my foot broke(left) when I stood up after putting on my socks which caused me to do more weight baring on my "bad" hip. When I saw my stemcell doctor he x-ray it and I have arthritis and avascular necrosis in it. If it doesn't stablize they will consider a hip replacement which I don't even know if it is an option with all the bone involvement I have. To be determined at a later date (lol) And the icing on the cake, which I know for sure I have MK sympathies, I managed to get shingles in the midst of all this fun. Oh dear Cyndy! I guess there is good news in with the bad news, though. Stable to Navelbine is really good news. All the bone stuff has to be very difficult to deal with. You and Cathi have had so much problem with bones. darn this terrible disease. I hope your Shingles were not bad. Altho I have had them about three times mine have never been nearly as bad as most describe. I seem to break out any time I am near anyone with chicken pox or a herpes cold sore, but the medicine they give works fine for me. I will keep you in my prayers. Big Hugs MK

Cyndy, As MK says your news seems like a mixed bag. I'm so sorry to read about all of the bone pain and that fracture sounds so freaky. Take care of those shingles. You're always in my prayers, Luci

Cyndy, so sorry to hear about your hip and your shingles, but I'm so glad to hear that the navelbine is working for you. Take care of yourself and keep us posted.
