At least I like to think it is.  But I"m not convinced in this case.  As most of you know, I've kept in touch with Denise or her mam at least twice a day for over a year, now.  Denise suffered a stroke a week and a half ago and was hospitalized immediately.  When I talked to her mam last Friday, she and Denise's sister Beth were going to stay with her at the hospital over the weekend, and mam promised to call me Sunday night.  Well, I've not heard a word from either of them, and I'm really worried.  Several of you asked for updates, but I have nothing new to report except silence.  You should probably know that Denise has moved, so she has no e-mail or phone at the moment, and her mam has a serious heart condition.  This is not looking good.  I'm leaving messages with both, but have no idea when I may hear back.  I wish I could tell you something positive.  I will continue to try while I'm in Boston.  If you think of it, please send along prayers for a good outcome to all of this.

No, Rita, this does not sound good. But your last update of her condition was very disheartening. The stroke sounded so severe and she's been fighting for so long. I think this is a time for all of us to pray for Denise and her family.

I was going to call you until I read in Gail's post that you were in Boston. Guess we can only pray at this point. Denise has been suffering a long time. Hugs to you, MK
