Had the bone scan Thursday afternoon and it was just as easy as you all said. Thanks for helping me get through that.
My rads onc. called me himself Friday morning (scared the daylights out of me since my surgeon called me at home to give me the news of the BC) and all was normal on the scan!!! YIPPEE!!!! VERY happy news! He said to see my family doc to have other tests run for possible gallbladder problems. But on to a new set of problems....
Started my cycle Thursday and it was only 21 days! I've been getting them closer and closer for over a year now. Used to be 30 - 32 days then was at 28 for a while, last month and the month before was 24. NOW THIS! Could this have anything with just starting the tamoxifen a week ago? I hate to complain but this is a real bad one too, heavy and horrible cramps that usually are gone after a day. I was sort of hoping that the tam. would stop them! One of the things the hemotology onc. told me last week was to get in with my gyn. to discuss a hyster due to having a fibroid growing in my cervix. Gyn. told me about a year ago that it may get worse, heavier, closer together and whenever it got to the point that I couldn't take it anymore he would schedule a hyster. Well it looks like that may be in my very near future. I don't want to have that done while the kids are on summer break though. I wanted to be able to do things with them that I've never done. Take them on adventures and spend days just acting like a kid!
Well thanks for holding my hand again. I'll be keeping you up to date when I make the gyn. appt.
Hugs,
