Waiting For Biopsy - Just Feel So Low

I see you around in the Anxiety forum, as I post there as well.

As I've mentioned before, I've had fibrocystic breasts since I was 14 and I cannot count the times I've been called and recalled to have additional testing done.

Worrying serves no purpose. As S.C. writes in her sig, it only robs today of its pleasures.

IF it turns out to be something, you will deal with it, as the rest of us who have BC have dealt with it.

But at this stage, you need to remind yourself you have no reason to be convinced of anything other than you have tests that need to be performed and they're for the purpose of your health and well being.

Dear Anxiety, it sounds like you are a bit like me in that I prepare for the worst and hope for the best lol it is ok =) It is normal to worry , it just becomes unhealthy for us when we are stuck in the worry part 24/7 and become paralized with fear and anxiety and it affects our quality of life.
For me I had to be aware of what my Brain wanted to process at any given time, as it constantly changes, as treatment changes and there are a lot of thngs to deal with. For me now I Have to come to terms and accept that ok lost some of my teeth so they could start chemo..that really sucked! Now I have to process ok they want to do heart test and chemo in the next two days. The thing is as difficult and heartbreaking some of the steps are I have to keep taking them if I want to give my self and my family a chance to have me in this world longer.
I had to allow my self to feel those feeling acknowledge yea im scared outa my mind, or worried sick, or desperate for comfort what ever it is i was feeling and why i was feeling that way is ok. However, I only allowed myself to feel and prosses those thoughts in increments. Meaning I give my self permission to feel the feelings and acknowledge where they are coming from, accept that is how i feel and why, share with my closest and most trusted and become vunerable with them, then move on to some thing else, at least for a little while lol. If i have to go back to the dark place many times a day i do that, but i only stay for a little while, then move onto something else to give myself a break from my self lol =) A little while may mean something different to you than it does me that is ok , but all day and night is not a little while lol.
It is ok to be scared, and it is ok to cry, and it is ok to laugh, and it is ok to be vunerable, and it is ok to be you in any given moment.
Be Gentle with yourself, and not fret about having feelings, just allow your self to feel the not great feelings and acknowledge them know they are there, why they are there, then have the courage and faith to let them go even if for a little while. The day is comprised of moments, and every moment is going to be different, some great some definatly not so great, but each moment is a moment lived, and deserves to be recognized, but not horded cause if we hoard moments especially the bad ones we are going to miss some really spectacular and awsome moments =D you are stronger and more brave than you give yourself credit for you know, sharing with us your vunarbilty and fear takes a lot of courage and strength to reach out for help, it is ok you know.
Baby steps still get you were you need to be, so yea im taking baby steps, you can take baby steps with me too, it is ok .

Anxiety i truely am sorry for youyr losses that is heartwretching losses to have to bear, and most surely can compund your fears and Greif! Keep sharing it ok, i had a moment when i totally lost it too were I was hyperventillating it was scary as heck i never had that happen before! So I can imagin what it would be like to have that happen on more than one occassion! BIG HUG! terrible thing, and yea it is like a totall sense of lose of control terrible terrible! I hope I never have to go through that again! I wanted to run away from my self it was the most awful feeling, thankfully my go to guy allowed me to feel the feeling, go through it and come out the other side. My heart goes out to you anxiety, you are amazing person!

You're doing absolutely fine re: your posting here in the BC forum, and also in the Anxiety forum. Honest!!

Post wherever you need to, whenever you need to. You're not breaking any rules! :)

Heck, sometimes I'm posting all over the place. The good thing about HW is that there are so many forums to choose from.

Different crowds, and it's all good. You are equally welcomed, and encouraged, to post where you would like.

I understand that. I've seen too many staff who are either unmotivated, dislike their jobs, or perhaps even abuse the 'power' that comes with their positions.

You shouldn't have to wait this long. Last Tuesday? Really? Those results should be in by now I would think.

I remember my biopsies, and if I recall correctly, there was one group that had to be sent to CA for analysis. Which sounds bizarre, as I write it, it seems like maybe I'm remembering this wrong, but I'm pretty sure they did. That may have been the biopsy sample sent for when I got my oncotypedx however, not the regular biopsy itself.

Those results generally come back within a few days if I recall....perhaps depending on where you live and where the lab is?

I would call again tomorrow.....I really would.
