I like and hate August!

 

It's a month of anniversaries for me.  Starting with Sobriety, which will be 17 years on the 29th, then there's marriage, 7 years either yesterday or today, we can't remember which one, but now I just looked it up.  I'm 3 years from diagnosis on the 15th!!!!!  Wow! 

 

I'm also happy to say that I've made appointments with my onc, a new gyn, and my breast surgeon.  I'll see them in Sept and October.  I get afraid every time we monkey around that he'll find another lump.....  It still comes in my mind.  Will it ever stop??

 

The house plans are moving along!  We should close right after Labor Day!!! Wish it could be sooner, but oh well.  It will be in time for Thanksgiving and the pig roast will be halloween weekend.

Congratulations Ellen. We came to board at about the same time and it is hard to believe that three years has passed. I know what you mean about going to the doctors. I always worry too much.

Glad about the house. Labor Day will be here before you know it.

Yea Celebrate. Hope all goes great with all the appointments, house closings and your life in general!!!! Wish I was in your neck of the woods these days. Texas is so hot, NY in the mountains ought to be great??? Hugs MK
