My young cousin's wife was just dx with breast cancer. She lives in a small SC town and didn't get the best care. She was two chemo treatments away from being finished and found a lump on her neck. They finally sent her to MD Anderson, where she learned that the SC docs had not helped her much. Please keep her in your mighty prayers. As well as her mom who is going through cervical cancer for the second time. Not pretty this disease.

I love you all and think of you often and immediately when I hear of someone who coudl benefit from your wealth of information and support.

Hi Angela, took me a while to realize it was you. Yes of course prayers are on the way. You know cancer is not fair, but doctors are also not equal as we all know. I am so sorry to hear this. Please keep us informed. No one family should have one person deal with this disease, more than one seems impossible to deal with. They must be a really strong family. Hi Angela..

Please know that your cousin has been added to my prayer list. This disease
just keeps spreading. Doesnt seem to be slowing down one bit. I had hoped that a cure would have been found by now...sigh

Hi Angela, I didn't realize it was you, either and if you read my other post you can imagine right now I am not in the best frame of mind to be posting uplifting messages to newbies. I am sorry to hear about your cousin's wife. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers, too. Cancer just keeps rearing it's ugly head. My daughter's first husband, her two kids father was just diagnosed with thyroid cancer that had also spread to the lymph nodes. His fiance was dx with breast cancer last year at stage III. So my two grandchildren are really dealing with a lot of cancer right now. They are both grown but that doesn't make it any easier on them. I hate this terrible disease!!!! But I love all the friends I have made through it. Hugs MK

Hi, Angela! I am so sorry to hear this has hit your family again. I don't know if you have been reading the board, but my cousin was recently diagnosed as well. Her prognosis appears to be good at this time...no node involvement, anyway, and she had a double...they aren't considering any further treatment at this time...I don't know. Makes me a nervous nelly to think that that is all there is to it.

I'll keep your cousin's wife in my thoughts.

Angela, Joyce told me who you were! Sorry I didn't figure it out earlier. While it's good to see you, your news is not good. Your family is going through more than its share of cancer, it seems. At least your cousin's wife is going to be given better tx now. Sending you a big hug and will remember them in prayer. Come again and let us know how they are doing.
