Very interesting. I fit in with all of you, most of the CFS patients I hear about are the ones who are in a lot of pain, and sometimes laid up for days.
I too work fulltime, very fatigued. I was diagnosed in February, because of a high Epstein Barr level. I have been fatigued for a very long time, diagnosed with sleep apnea last July, insomnia since then, and now the CFS. I was looking back at blood work, and found in 2006, my Epstein Barr level was high too, not as high as now though.
The doctor told me the only thing I can do is rest and exercise. I had been forcing myself to exercise before I was diagnosed because I want to lose weight, so I continued to do it. I can't increase my exercise time because of the fatigue, and I am afraid to let up with what I am doing, because then I may never do it again.
By 7 pm I am so fatigued I can fall asleep sitting up, but I have to force myself to stay away until 11 or so, if not, I am awake at 4 am, and then I can barely make it through the day.
I'm glad there are other's like me, I was beginning to think I was the odd one out!
