Hi Chiccam,
I wouldn't have realised sugar was so bad for me and the cause of many of my issues unless I had not gone off it. It was amazing how quickly my health improved and many of the related symptoms went away or eased off. I have since read a book with the title of "Beat Sugar Addiction" or something like it and it is fantastic as it gives ideas of how the body craves sugar, the issues it causes and also how to get off sugar and what natural supplements eg vitamins etc to improve one's health. It also has a cookbook with a similar name with many recipes to improve health. I highly recommend it and refer to it regularly.
Going off sugar is extremely hard and had I not been at rock bottom, I don't think I could've done it. However, it gave me my life back. Some experts have told me all in moderation ie 90% healthy food and 10% not so healthy or have a treat once a week but for me, I'm so addicted to it that once I start with just one treat, I'm then wanting another 'treat' and before I know it, I;m consuming a bar of chocolate in one sitting. I really need to keep away from it as much as possibly and it's something I'm working on.
I wish you all the best, keep strong and good luck
Cheers Lou
