Hello Kaliska,
I am almost 50 years old and was diagnosed about 3 years ago with Fibromyalgia & osteoarthritis. about 14 years ago I was diagnosed with RLS, restless leg syndrome. For my RLS, I take 8-12mg everyday. Even before that time I had serious sleep issues. There have been days that I have been awake in excess of 40 hours. Just last week I was up for over 42. Normally after sleep deprivation, I catch up by sleeping about 12-16 hours. That has not happened yet, the most that I have been able to sleep is about 5.5 hours. I have an expensive mattress that I can no longer stand and I am thinking about getting a recliner that will lay almost flat to sleep, watch TV & do my college homework in. Unless my wife or kids has me to do something, I do not leave my bedroom on most days. I used to work 50-60 hours and now I can barely get out of bed. I am sorry about the doctors you have to deal with, my doctor will listen but normally frowns when I mention researching the internet with my symptoms. My wife switched doctors 8-9 months ago and her new one actually appreciates us searching for possible answers. Most medical doctors here in Western Kentucky do not like chiropractors, or things like acupuncture or even a simple TENS unit. These things work for me struggle through each passing day. I wish you luck!
