1. My symptoms are extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, flulike symptoms, swollen lymph nodes, achy all over feeling, dizziness, light headed, foggy brain & cognitive problems, memory problems.
2. My day is spent sleeping until I wake up. Then I am either in bed or on the couch for the rest of the day. On a good day I am sitting on the couch watching TV or on my computer. I may have enough energy to do light housework, as long as I pace myself. This may consist of unloading & reloading the dishwasher or vacuuming a room or doing a load of laundry. about once or twice a month, I leave the house & go to the store & pay bills. On bad days I usually just lay on the couch & watch TV, I would say this is how I feel 50% of the time. A really good day I can visit with a friend, this has been very seldom but I look forward to them.
3. I used to be a very active person & I loved to work. I loved my job but had to quit when I couldn't do it anymore. Took me quite awhile to come to terms with that but I finally did. I am now on Social Security Disability. I had many gardens in my yard & one summer realized I had to let that go too. I had people come & dig plants & take them home, probably about 350 plants. I made jewelry & sold them at craft fairs, not anymore, gave it up. Loved to camp, hike & fish but just don't have the energy to try them now. I really haven't made many adaptions in how I live, I just had to give up what I had no energy for. My daughter & my two grandchildren moved in with me after my husband died 4 years ago so I don't have to deal with the loneliness some have to deal with.
4. I have not really tried any types of therapy. Mostly just exercise, not good unless I only do low impact. Walking is the best exercise I have found but only on good days otherwise I crash. I have tried some different supplements but none of them really help. Mostly, life is just trial & error, everyone out there has a cure but none have worked for me.
I hope this helps, I will add on if I think of anything else. I have the stomach flu right now so I don't know how clear I have been or how much help. Hugs, Denise
