Lassie,
I am eager to hear how your SCS works, too. Who knows, maybe something like that will be in my future.
After another horribly sleepless night I called my physical therapist today and asked if I could get in tomorrow just to have him check my SI joint. His receptionist put me right in; unlike a lot of medical offices, he has a wonderful staff - and after all this time with him we're all on a first name basis! It's just a relief to know he'll check it again tomorrow because I know it's not staying in place, even with the belt. Sometimes it takes a few weeks to tighten the ligaments again. I had it working well until my surgery and then I could no longer do the exercises to keep it in place. So I hope I can get it all to work again.
I'll keep my fingers an toes crossed but I know you may slip from time to time. It took me a couple of years of trying to finally quit, and you're well on your way. As long as you don't let a slip turn you back into a smoker....and we'll all help you with that!
Cheers & Hugs to you,
PaLady
p.s. I have a hunch Toritoo may not be feeling well, or is out enjoying her California weather. I don't think there was anything objectionable about
your North Pole reference - I loved it!
