Oh No! Walking Problems ... : ((( Help!

I'm ok today, except for my usual chronic pain. However, for three days before this I could barely walk. When I walked down the hall I looked like a drunken sailor. I don't want to tell my Pain doctor because he'll say, "Oh your meds aren't working, I'll send you to a neurosurgeon, or neurologist" I just want to live quietly and learn to live with this darnable pain. I don't want surgery. I don't want to run around in 104 degree heat. I don't want anyone looking ....down there. My tail bone seems to be a source of much of this problem. I broke it giving birth. Hi Pam: In my accident one of the things I forgot to mention was my tailbone was fractured. My tailbone after my neck fusion was the next operation I indured and while not a painful operation it was extremely enbarassing with every nurse, physical therapy person plus being at a University hospital every intern and every training nurse lookin up myrearend. Then as another cruel result of course was the infection ! !
Often i experience walking like a drunk sailor and I am with You as I simply wait it out sometimes for days as I want no more surgeries, tests etc. I have surrendered to living in pain and taking the same drugs that my brother used to commit suicide after having a failed back surgery years ago.
I believe my drunken walking is from my neck although my entire neck is fused I have two screws that are loose and sometimes they move and to me this is why I walk funny until they move back i am a funny walker. Surgery to correct my problem is not available as the surgery would either kill me or make me a vegetable so i live with the chance that one day they will come loose and pierce my spinal cord. Rather than put myself thru a very dangerous surgery with a very small chance of sucess I chose to let my Angels take care of me and when they decide to take me so be it.
Sorry for being so depressing is there a small chance You have a inner ear problem ?? Do You feel any better with Neurontin ? I was on it and felt no better so i stopped. All i take now are my pain meds I threw away everything else antidepressants, muscle relaxers, sleeping pills and in doing so I feel better. I hate being a zombie plus all the meds I was on cannot be good for my liver and kidneys. Hopefully You find out what causing the "walk" Best regards.
