I have a bunch, I'll do three or four at a time:
2001 - ER Room: You need to lay on your back for three weeks, then
see a Neurosurgeon and get an MRI. (He gave me a whopper of a shot.
We were moving to another town and I kept falling asleep while I was
signing the papers for the house.
2001 - Primary Care doctor: He gave me an X-ray, called me on the
phone and said, "You have a perfectly normal neck. Look for a new doctor
when you get to your new town." (His nurse told me different thank God)
2002 - New town: Waited 2 1/2 hours to see the doctor. Couldn't wait
any longer. Almost jumped across the desk to get my private papers
back -I'd never go to that doctor. Two years later he got in a big law
suit for not diagnosing an obvious Cervical Cancer in someone else.
2002 - Two weeks later. Waited 2 1/2 hours again. The nurse gave me
a bunch of papers to fill in, but no pen. I was in a back room and the
place was really busy. I fished in my purse and found my Pink pen.
I filled out the forms and when the doctor finally came in, I found that
he was about
75 years old. "I can't read your writing," he shouted. I
tried to tell him about
my problem and he said, "There's nothing I can
do about
your problem." And then he rudely excused me. Later I found
out he was a nursing home doctor.
